I never noticed.
So those ships aren't really cargoships then, but pirates?

It's got an interesting layout. Reminded me of some kind of punching card. The all-zero column is also a nice touch. Hope to see it back soon!
At least I can feel better about not finding a completely logic-based (as opposed to guesswork) continuation after some point.

Right, I got stuck, and because there were only 2 places to put the size 4 ship, both of which providing a lot more clues to work with, I just decided to try both options instead of staring blankly looking for an opening.

Quite like the new genre!
I had some trouble solving this one, and when I thought I had it, my solution wasn't accepted.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding something about how these work, or maybe my basic addition skills are out of order (which would be incredibly embarrassing! )
Anyway, this is what I ended up with:
____4_67__
012_______
__________
_1________
_______78_
__________
_________9
0123_____9
_______7__
_1_345____
I hope this shows up right. I couldn't change the color to avoid spoilers in a code block, so I'm improvising a bit.

I used that view as well.
And since this is also the suggestions forum, here's one! Maybe the '(xx more)' note at the bottom of the list could be made a link to a page with the full view?

Did this one have its difficulty reduced to 1 star recently? I used to have all 1 star puzzles solved for a while, until this one popped up today.
Pretty looking puzzle, by the way.

I didn't know about someone's 96th birthday when I solved this, so I didn't pay any particular attention to what was written in the shape of the loop. Now that I know what it's all about, I have to say this is really nicely done, having significant shapes in the loop as well as the position of the clues.

I'm having a problem with this puzzle. I think I have a correct solution, but it isn't accepted.
Just to make sure, numbered squares on the inside of the grid don't count as being occupied by the line starting from them, but the squares with the fishies do, right?
Edit: I tried adding a screenshot of my solution as an attachment, but I can't seem to add more than 0. I'll post it inline as an image as soon as I manage to upload it to some imagehost.
Edit: As promised.
And another edit: Screenshot retracted to avoid spoilers.

Another nice one!
I solved Bram's puzzle with the three 96s first and I was thinking, you might as well show the operator when you're putting 96s. Doing this one next, they were there.
It's a matter of personal aesthetics I guess.
