Ja, dat is altijd met deze grote puzzels. Er was de optie om tot 16 te gaan in de studio. Ik dacht dan moet er ook wel eentje gemaakt worden. Da's pas veel werk .
Alle sudokus die tot nu toe uit zijn

Yeah i agree, it depends on the puzzle genre. One of the most famous ones for me are Dominoes puzzles(which aren't on this site). There uniqueness is prob the step i use most.
It also depends if i solve the puzzle for fun or speed. In competitions i use uniqueness when i can, because you just want to finish it as fast as possible. When i do it for fun, i try to avoid using a uniqueness assumption, just to have that extra bit where you also see the puzzle is unique and not just assume it is.
(on a side note, i like XXX, but YYY tend to be a bit harder )

I did 1+2+3+5+6 = 21, when trying do design a killer sudoku. This also posed a problem.
Thanks.

Wasn't the puzzle applet. I couldn't get the site to load at all, no other sites caused any trouble. Seems to be okay now.

Hi
I can't access puzzlepicnic since yesterday in IE7 in Windows Vista. I downloaded firefox and that browser works. Also works for me in an earlier IE version in windows XP. Anyone else having this problem or is that just me??

I'd like the option to create variants sometimes(like puzzle #340) . Of course the variants should be acceptable within the genre. I think if we can make any puzzle genre it might become a bit messy in here. I like how you can just find puzzles of each puzzle-type easily here. But I'm happy making puzzles the way they are right now. Don't really need a change.

Well yeah, the dividing line doesn't NEED to be there obviously because it is implied. Don't think it adds much to the solving.
