Now I can edit my puzzles in my sandbox with IE 8 except Masyu.
I still cannot edit my Masyu puzzle with IE 8.

Just a quick question about the masyu. Are you able to draw in the puzzle applet when you open your puzzle or does it just not save the solution?

I'm asking this because it happened before that people said they couldn't put in their Masyu solution. In those cases it was always that they made the Masyu grid out of lines without an active element. These lines would normally go on the outside only. In the construction, if you click a second time on the Masyu black line, you'll see a light grey line appear over the black line. This is the active element and which you can draw the lines for the solution on.

If this is what causes the problem, I hope that fixes it. Otherwise I wouldn't know what it is.
Sometimes that rule exists in these puzzles, but we haven't implemented it as a rule.
Thanks.

Worked on it over the course of a few days. Built it around the 1234 circle in the middle. The bottom was set up pretty quickly. Most of the time was spent getting a unique solution in the top, without breaking up one particular pattern.
Thanks.

I had the same reaction when a puzzle like this popped up on a Dutch puzzle championship, when the prereleased instructions announced it as a normal puzzle.
Hi, I sent you a private message here. You can check that out. hope it helps.
Thanks. I almost gave up on both ideas at one point. It took many attempts to get them unique.
Yeah, it was made in the spirit of the competition. Not an official entry being a judge. It came out a bit larger than I planned. I like the center bit, so had to expand the puzzle to make it unique and keep the sum of 5 antisymmetry.

Another puzzle I made earlier in the spirit of the competition was #2615.
