This weekend Logic Masters India will host my puzzle test called hybrids.
It consists of 24 puzzles. They come in sets of 4. Each set has 2 familiar or less familiar puzzle types and 2 hybrids, which combine ideas from both puzzles into one. There's both easy and hard puzzles in there, so something for everyone to enjoy. If you can spare 2 hours this weekend, please participate.

It's basically jigsaw sudoku, isn't it? Just with a different way to show the nonets. Or am I missing a rule?

You solution isnt valid as you have to treat the cogwheels as nxn squares which can't overlap. In your solution the 5x5 overlaps with one of the 3x3's.
