At croco-puzzle.com I've enjoyed playing the Laser puzzles they have archived there (also known by he German name Laserratsel). The idea is simple. You have a square or rectangular grid with a laser ray that travels diagonally through the grid. The points at which the ray enters and exits the grid are marked. The ray can cross its previous path, and all crossings are shown by X's. In the grid there are large panels called mirrors. These are placed either horizontally or vertically at some of the points where the grid lines intersect. Mirrors can be located on the sides of the grid. When the ray hits a mirror it is deflected at a right angle to its previous path. The object of the puzzle is to retrace the ray's complete path. In addition there are numbers that serve as guides. Numbers ABOVE
and to the LEFT of the grid show how many segments of the ray are in a row or column. The numbers BELOW and to the RIGHT of the grid are aligned with the lines separating each row and column, and these show how many mirrors are positioned along each line. The instructions for thr puzzle at croco-puzzle.com are in German, but I've been able to figure them out and solve a few of these puzzles. Please share any thoughts you have on this topic. I enjoy working intriguing puzzles such as Spokes, Arrows, and Walls. I would like to see more Hamilton Maze puzzles of varying difficulty posted soon
