Hi,

Nice to try new format puzzles - thanks for creating these LITS puzzles.

On this particular one, there appears to be multiple solutions, unless I've misunderstood the rules.

eg, the 'L' on the right (centre) could be an 'I'.
I also have my 'L' and 'S' arranged differently in the centre of the board.

It's not necessarily a bad thing to have multiple solutions, but it would be nice if the solver could recognise if the rules had been followed or not, then possibly flag the puzzle as having known multiple solutions if this differs from the expected answer.

I've just noticed that the coloured regions must all connect by horizontally touching another region...

You post too fast, my friend. I was just about to point that out to you!

And any time that you think you find a puzzle with multiple solutions (or none for that matter), feel free to post in the forum about it. Most of the time it turns out to be a misunderstanding in the rules, but occasionally a non-unique or broken puzzle slips past the judges

Ok, had another look - The I/L/T block in the left 2 columns doesn't connect with the rest of the area (in the given solution), which contradicts the rules, doesn't it?

I'm not sure what you're looking at, but on the solution that I see when I reveal, the T block touches the L block in the middle region, which connects to the rest of the board. So the solution I'm getting when I click "Reveal" appears to be correct.

I triple-checked as well... oh never mind, it looks right now.

Hmmmm maybe if I walk around blindly I'll find the hole that you *thud*

Nice puzzle!

However in the end I get the feeling (x,y) (4,5) can be swapped for (6,4) and create a T instead of an L in the middle. What am I overlooking?

I was confused and now I've learned something (I think...)
