When I complete a puzzle, and press "Check", sometimes I get the message that the puzzle is incorrect, while it really isn't.
Only after I select "duplicate tab "in my browser (Opera), giving me the completed puzzle in a new tab, and press the "Check" button there, will I get the "Congratulations" message.

I have been having the same issue in IE (specifically with Johan's latest 2 star Nonogram). This happens even after clicking on the "Reveal" button and then immediately pressing "Check".

I realize part of my problem is that I use IE, but there are ignorant people out there like me

I have this issue with firefox 2 and 3, and I get incorrect 100% of the time. I am using Java 1.6.

Yes, this is a very unfortunate bug, which has been confirmed in Firefox 2. I've read that this would be fixed in Firefox 3, so Achan's observation comes as a bit of a surprise. We're trying to fix this issue at our end. In the mean-time, sorry for the inconvenience. We know that many visitors and members prefer Firefox (me too), but the only advice we can give is to use IE for the moment

Tonight, we've updated the site and released a fix for the communication between applet and server. This should now be more reliable than before. Please report it if you encounter this behavior again.
