I liked this puzzle a lot, I knew a lot from the beginning (How many pieces of each number there is, and even which numbers at which square) but still found it immensly difficult to solve. This heterocut is much less natural for me than other puzzles.

Yeah, it's kinda a gritty puzzle type. But I've been experimenting with this type a lot to get a bit of a feel for it and see where the tricks lie. If you go through mine in chronological order you'll see that the later ones have a bit more structured approach or more of an idea to them.
This one was based on the fact that there's only one configuration of sizes to fill four 4 by 4 squares with pieces 1-5. You mainly had to figure out the exact shapes and which configuration matched which square.
