In numberlink,every digit appears exactly twice,if i understand the rules.
But i see 3 instances of the digit 2 in this puzzle.

The site admins generalized this rule a bit (as a nice variation). For instance, look at #1637 (Maarten's puzzle from February 5, 2010). The rules as written just say you have to connect all same digits.
